In a heartwarming and dramatic turn of events, three young boys from Delhi — all ardent fans of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan — went missing for four days after embarking on an ambitious journey to meet their idol. The children, aged between 10 and 13, were finally found safe in Nashik, Maharashtra.
The Disappearance: A Fan Dream Turns Worrying
The three boys, who live in Delhi’s West Patel Nagar area, reportedly left their homes without informing their parents on July 26. According to police sources, they carried minimal money, some clothes, and a poster of Salman Khan. Their families were plunged into deep worry after discovering their absence and immediately filed missing person complaints with the local police.

The Investigation and Breakthrough
With the help of CCTV footage, Delhi Police traced the boys boarding a train at New Delhi Railway Station. Further coordination with Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Maharashtra police helped track their movements. On July 30, Nashik police located the boys near the Panchvati area, where they were reportedly asking locals for directions to reach Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel — over 150 km away.
Safe Reunion and Counselling
The boys were taken into protective custody and provided with food and medical care. After verifying their identities, Nashik police contacted their families and Delhi authorities. Emotional and relieved, the families are now en route to reunite with the children.
Police officials stated that while the children were unharmed, they were tired and disoriented. Child welfare teams will counsel the boys and their families to ensure such incidents don’t recur.
